The actor took to her Instagram to post a photo of herself in this look. She captioned the post, “There’s No Place Like Home” referring to Great Britain. As for the ensemble, the gown featured a figure-hugging bodice in black and a flared-out black tulle skirt in an up-and-down style, which gave the gown a more high-end look. Underneath the skirt was a sparkly mosaic of pink structural fabric that defined the drama in the outfit.

Erivo paired the gown with matching black and metallic pink tights. The star further styled the look with a pair of gorgeous opera gloves and black platform heels. Another highlight of her ensemble was the unique headpiece, which complemented the gown perfectly. For accessories, she wore De Beers’ dazzling earrings and her signature nose ring. Compared to Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba-inspired gown, Ariana Grande wore a light pink, plunging gown for the Mexico City “Wicked” premiere. Her dress had a corset-like bodice with a ruffled frock for a skirt, as seen in the Instagram Stories of the “Wicked” movie’s account. The actors posed on the red carpet in their contrasting ensembles as co-star Jonathan Bailey joined them, wearing a rather casual outfit. Bailey sported a white vest with casual pants and a purple waistband. He topped off the look with a blazer.

In the first post, the artist revealed using four GelColor shades from OPI’s “Wicked” collection — Witch O’Clock, Ozitively Elphaba, Black Onyx, and Alpine Snow. The Clawz By Dior owner then painted geometric lines above the solid colors and decorated them with embellishments for a high fashion look. However, the artistry did not stop there. Dior also revealed using Bluestreak Crystals and Serinity Crystals atop the bold designs to create the Elphaba-inspired nail art.

Dior’s nail creation is truly genius, and Cynthia Erivo has credited the artist during the interviews. Moreover, the nail tech claimed that Erivo’s manicure was approved by pop singer Ariana Grande.
