At Balenciaga HQ, Demna is there to stay. After all, the Georgian designer (who succeed Alexander Wang as Balenciaga creative director in 2015) renewed his contract with the Kering-owned fashion house back in October. The Paris-based luxury label continues to roll out advertising campaigns thick and fast. The latest, entitled “This is a Balenciaga campaign” sees Demna secure Juergen Teller as campaign photographer. Out are the likes of Mario Sorrenti and Nadav Kander, in favor of the revered German lensman. Teller points his lens toward Kim Ye-Ji, Kim Petras, Romeo Beckham, Sua, Khadim, and Akolde Meen, each making for an ensemble cast. Demna’s chosen subjects pose on location in Paris, captured around various different locations within the French capital.

Here at theFashionSpot, the advertising campaigns of H&M have perhaps been on our radar more so than ever throughout 2024. That’s largely due to the fact that someone at H&M HQ commissioned Rafael Pavarotti as campaign photographer. The Brazilian creative (who has quickly cemented himself as one of the industry’s greatest) captured a handful of the modeling industry’s best talent for Spring 2024. Pavarotti transported us (and the likes of Vittoria Ceretti and Anok Yai) to his native of Brazil for the H&M Summer 2024 campaign offering. However, change is in the air for the Fall/Winter 2024 season, with Pavarotti outed in favor of Sam Rock. The British talent was called upon to shoot models Loli Bahia, Lila Moss, Bibi Breslin, Ajus Samuel, and a handful of others (including Charli XCX).

The Swiss photographer makes for a welcomed and refreshing change, pointing his lens toward Ella Rattigan, Ornella Umutoni, Amanda Murphy, and Lexi Boling. The cast of models pose within a cinema setting for the occasion, captured amidst a cinematic viewing experience while toting different variations of the Prada Galleria handbag, originally introduced in 2007.
