As officially announced on December 16, the year 2024 marks the 2nd Annual theFashionSpot Awards. Over on theFashionSpot forums, our loyal forum members have once again been asked to participate in the celebratory event and to vote for their respective favorites across a total of six strong categories. This year saw the introduction of the Haute Couture Collection of the Year category, in addition to the Designer of the Year, Ready-to-Wear Collection of the Year, Model of the Year, Magazine Cover of the Year, and Ad Campaign of the Year.

Should you need reminding, last year’s achievements included Jonathan Anderson winning Designer of the Year. Vittoria Ceretti was crowned our Model of the Year. Saint Laurent Fall 2024 received the Collection of the Year award. D la Repubblica starring Linda Evangelista via the lens of Robin Galiegue ultimately won Magazine Cover of the Year and the Ad Campaign of the Year went to Giorgio Armani Fall 2023.

…John Galliano!

A massive congratulations and round of applause for John Galliano – our 2024 Designer of the Year! Members of theFashionSpot forums came our in their droves to vote for the celebrated British designer. After his triumphant Maison Margiela Artisanal showcase, Galliano recently departed Maison Margiela as creative director. Whatever 2025 holds for Galliano is anyone’s guess. We will be watching, nevertheless.

As officially announced December 11, the year 2023 is to mark the 1st annual theFashionSpot Awards. Over on theFashionSpot forums, members have been asked to participate in the event and vote for their respective favorites across a total of five strong categories. To commence the end-of-year award festivities, the categories for 2023 were set at Designer of the Year, Collection of the Year, Model of the Year, Magazine Cover of the Year and Ad Campaign of the Year.

Congratulations to the British designer who is the current creative director of both Loewe and his own namesake fashion label JW Anderson. Accounting for 39.3% of the votes from theFashionSpot’s forum members, Anderson is the clear winner and recipient of our 1st annual Designer of the Year award!
